About OCAD Archive
OCAD Archive is a non-profit student-run website for 4th year and graduating students at the Ontario College of Art & Design.
OCAD Archive showcases the depth of the school's diversely creative visual art and design culture. Started in 2007, the website has become an annual tradition with successive groups of students contributing to the site's content at the end of each school year; work from previous years will continue to be transferred into an ever-growing alumni section within the site. OCAD Archive empowers students transitioning into the workplace by providing them with a platform to display their best work. The site has established a sense of community within the school and has allowed students to forge connections with each other as they embark upon careers in the art and design industries.
OCAD Archive is now inviting galleries, studios, friends, and other guests to register and participate in the site. By creating a guest account you will have access to student contacts and the ability to save and refer all portfolios within the site.
OCAD Archive is looking forward to the future and has a plethora of new and exciting features that will be added over the coming months. If you have any comments or suggestions for the site please start a conversation by sending an email to: garus [at] bythebooth.com

The dots at the top of the page represent students who have registered for OCAD Archive. As the site grows and more people register, the circles will begin to construct the OCAD Archive logo. The different colours of the circles represent the varied design/art programs as well as how recently a portfolio has been updated; after a week, the colour of each circle will fade to white and will stop moving if updates are not made. Around the time of the Graduate Exhibition at the end of each school year, the circles will become active (as students begin adding new work) to visually represent the activity on the site.
OCAD Archive is funded by Xpace, a non-profit student-run art/design gallery and student centre.
